Terms of Service

1. Scope
These Terms of Service apply to the use of the FamilyHub app, operated by Pascal Brunner, Zurich, Switzerland. By registering, you accept these terms.
2. Service Description
FamilyHub is a family organisation app with the following features: • Family calendar with invitations and participant management • Project planning with Kanban board and task management • Family finances with budget tracking • Emergency information for family members • AI Family Coach with personalised recommendations (Plus plan) • Co-parenting features for separated families
3. Registration & Families
• Registration requires a valid email address • Families are private groups — access only via invitation code • The creator of a family is the owner and can appoint admins • You are responsible for the security of your password
4. Subscription Plans & Pricing
• Family Basic: CHF 5/month — Calendar, projects, finances, emergency info • Family Plus: CHF 12/month — Everything in Basic + AI Family Coach (30 messages/day) • Extra Credits: CHF 5 one-time — +50 AI messages • New families receive 15 days of free full access Prices in CHF, VAT included. Price changes will be announced 30 days in advance.
5. Cancellation & Term
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period • After cancellation, you retain access to basic features • Account deletion ends the subscription immediately
6. Liability & Warranty
• FamilyHub is provided 'as is' without guarantee of uninterrupted availability • AI Coach recommendations are informational and do not replace professional advice (medical, legal, financial) • We are not liable for data loss due to force majeure or third-party outages • Our liability is limited to the amount of the last 12 monthly subscriptions
7. Data Protection
Protecting your data is important to us. Details can be found in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms. Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
9. Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
10. Special Terms for App Store Purchases (Apple App Store)
If you obtained the app via the Apple App Store, the following provisions additionally apply: 10.1 Acknowledgement: These Terms are concluded between you and Pascal Brunner, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. 10.2 Scope of License: The license is non-transferable and limited to Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms (Family Sharing included). 10.3 Maintenance and Support: Pascal Brunner is solely responsible for maintenance and support (support@family-hub.ch). Apple is not obligated to provide such services. 10.4 Warranty: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no warranty obligation. In case of failure to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for refund of the purchase price; any further claims shall be directed against Pascal Brunner. 10.5 Product Claims: Pascal Brunner, not Apple, is responsible for addressing product liability, consumer protection, and data protection claims. 10.6 Intellectual Property Rights: In the event of third-party IP infringement claims, Pascal Brunner is solely responsible for investigation, defense, settlement and discharge. 10.7 Legal Compliance: You warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not listed on any US Government prohibited or restricted parties list. 10.8 Developer Contact: Pascal Brunner, Zurich, Switzerland, support@family-hub.ch 10.9 Third Party Terms: You must comply with applicable third-party terms (e.g. wireless data service agreements). 10.10 Apple as Third Party Beneficiary: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before expiry. Management and cancellation is done through your Apple ID settings.
