1. Data Controller

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following data: • Profile: name, email, date of birth, address, avatar • Family: members, roles, invitation codes • Calendar: events, participants, recurrences • Projects & tasks: titles, descriptions, assignments, costs • Finances: income, expenses, budget categories • Emergency info: blood type, allergies, medications, emergency contacts, insurance • Chat: AI Coach conversations and sessions • Location: address for weather widget (optional) • Device: push token for notifications

3. Purpose of Processing

Your data is used exclusively for FamilyHub services: • Family organisation (calendar, projects, finances) • Emergency information for your family • AI Family Coach (personalised recommendations) • Notifications about events and tasks • Subscription management and payment processing

4. AI Processing

The AI Family Coach uses the Claude API by Anthropic. Your family data (calendar, tasks, emergency info, weather) is transmitted to Anthropic to generate personalised recommendations. Anthropic does not retain input data for model improvement. Coaching knowledge is provided via Pinecone (vector database).

5. Third-Party Providers

• Supabase (AWS, EU): database, authentication, file storage • Stripe (USA/EU): payment processing — we do not store card details • Anthropic (USA): AI processing (Claude API) • Pinecone (USA): vector database for coaching knowledge • Open-Meteo (EU): weather data (no personal data) • Brave Search (USA): web search in AI Coach (optional)

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can at any time: • Delete your chat history (Settings → Privacy) • Export your data (JSON format) • Delete your account (Settings → Privacy → Delete account) When your account is deleted, personal data is removed and your profile is anonymised. Family data (events, projects) is preserved for remaining family members.

7. Your Rights

Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) and the GDPR, you have the following rights: • Right of access to stored data • Right to rectification of inaccurate data • Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten') • Right to data portability (export) • Right to object to processing Contact us at support@family-hub.ch to exercise your rights.
